Thanksgiving 2018

Thanksgiving is an annual holiday in the US where we reflect on the country’s history and reflect on all that we have to be grateful for.We at OGS want to make sure that you are included in this national tradition and that you feel at home on campus. With this in mind, we’ve planned a few events!

Appreciation Lunch on Monday & Tuesday (Nov. 19 & 20)

To practice gratitude, we are hosting a lunch for international students, faculty, and staff. Please invite a faculty or staff for whom you are thankful. A traditional Thanksgiving lunch will be provided for you and your guest faculty/ staff person.

Whose class did you really enjoy? Who gave you great advice? Who welcomed you to campus? Who influenced you? These people would be good ideas for guests.

Registration will open on November 5th at 10am. You will need to enter your name and the name of your guest faculty or staff person.

NOTE: A faculty/ staff guest is required in order for a student to join the lunch. Please confirm your faculty/ staff guest’s availability to join the lunch before you register. We will not invite this person on your behalf; it is your responsibility to confirm their attendance. One ticket provides entrance for you AND your guest.
