Submit the Canadian Arrival Questionnaire
Due September 30th, 2024
All new Northeastern University international students attending the Toronto or Vancouver campus are required to complete and submit the Canadian Arrival Questionnaire and upload:
- Copy of your Study Permit document that you would have received at the airport upon your arrival into Canada (NOT your Visa)
- Proof of Health Insurance (GuardMe Healthcare Access Card)
- Co-Op Work Permit (if applicable)
Completing the Canadian Arrival Questionnaire is MANDATORY.
For Toronto students, please note that GuardMe health insurance is the only health insurance that we will accept, other than the provincial health insurance, OHIP. You must purchase your health insurance by September 30th, 2024.
As a private DLI accepting international students in Canada, we are mandated by the government to collect and have on file a copy of your valid study permit and proof of health insurance (MSP Cards) for all our international students.
You can complete the form by clicking here.
You must submit your documents by September 30th, 2024.
Complete the International Student Orientation Course on Canvas
Due October 21st, 2024
To ensure all our international students get the information they need about staying in compliance with the IRCC requirements of study permit holders and temporary residents in Canada, we have put together a comprehensive course that will act as a guide throughout your time as a student to help you understand the policies, rules, and regulations that you need to be aware of as an international student in Canada.
This is a mandatory course and you are required to complete the course, each quiz, and the acknowledgement by October 21st, 2024.
Holds will be placed on student accounts who do not complete the course by the deadline.
