What is Diwali?

Diwali, Deepavali or Dipavali is a four to five day-long festival of lights, which is celebrated by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and some Buddhists every autumn in the northern hemisphere. NU hosts a celebration full of culture, food, dance and musical performances each year to celebrate the holiday. This year’s Diwali celebration will be on October 25th.

Celebrate Diwali

Celebrate Diwali, the festival of Lights and spread the light this festive season. Observe or take part in the Hindu, Jain, and Sikh Aarti, and have a delicious Indian dinner. Enjoy Bollywood music, dance, theater, and fashion show, along with Mehndi (Henna Tatoo) booths, Card Games, and Karaoke stations.

Please note: Backpacks and large bags will not be allowed in Cabot Cage. Please bring the Ticket Receipt (print or email) and a Photo ID to get entry into the space.
